Grades:Students will investigate the application of 3D printing to space technology.
Grades:Students will work in small groups to investigate constraints of starting a business. Each group will be assigned a specific constraint. Small groups will then write a linear inequality and graph the inequality on a group capture sheet.
Grades:Students will work in small groups to stack Solo cups vs. Styrofoam cups to see how many of each it takes for the two stacks to be equal. Students will then derive a system of linear equations to model the scenario of the two stacks of cups.
Grades:Working in groups, students will select a city and then use U.S. government census data to develop an algebraic relationship between time and population size.
